The minerals in this exhibition represent a small part of our Mineralogy collection

It currently includes items rescued from the 2018 fire and some recently acquired minerals. With the support of institutions and donors from Brazil and around the world, we are recomposing this very significant collection, formed over the 204 years that the National Museum/UFRJ has been in existence.
